The story of
SPOON
Spoon is a long-considered culmination of passion and experience, a place that feels like home with a charming air of someplace far, far away.
Jenna Hayes, our owner and chef, has travelled and cooked on yachts around the world, honing her craft and expertise in fresh, innovative & imaginative food.
Welcome to a space where you can indulge in flavours both favoured and foreign. To a way of eating where nobody feels rushed – where you relish in the opportunity to eat, drink and stay.
Welcome to Spoon, we hope to serve you soon.
Jenna & Themba on opening day.
The
VENUE
Feel right at home indoors with an open kitchen (complete with a crackling fireplace for crisp, cool nights) or bask in the sun on our veranda for when the KwaZulu-Natal warmth rolls in.
Stroll through our indigenous gardens, watch the horses in neighbouring fields and soak in the stunning views with a glass of wine in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other.
Please note that our friendly ridgebacks roam freely, so we kindly ask you to leave your pets at home.
